Intake Session for therapy
Intake sessions are held in-person. The first session is for the counselor to formally get to know the client and discuss potential treatment. It's a chance for the client to ask questions. Intake sessions usually span 2 weeks, with sessions scheduled in consecutive weeks for building rapport.

Counseling Session
Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your mental health treatment plan to alleviate mental health symptoms. Counseling sessions will be focused on your pace. The treatment plan will be based on what is needed to get you to your goal.

Intensive Out Patient (IOP) Session
IOP sessions at Honey Valley are typically held for OCD exposure after diagnosis. They are also available upon request or after discussing with Katy the need for treatment.

ADHD testing
Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA) test at Downtown Therapy Associates in downtown Huntsville is required for ADHD diagnosis. An intake is necessary unless requested by a doctor.
